     INSTALL GUIDE FOR While NOTION Music works toward complete Vista-compatibility, we have enabled the latest program update, NOTION Updater 1.6.1, to allow NOTION to run on the Windows Vista™ OS.  Because of many different aspects of the Vista operating system, some features of NOTION may not work correctly.  However, these issues will be addressed as our testing continues. The following steps are necessary because of the various security updates Microsoft applied in Windows Vista. While Windows XP will allow you to install programs from your personal account (as long as you are an administrator), Vista requires program installers to be run specifically with Administrator privileges. Therefore, to install NOTION properly on Windows Vista, please carefully follow these steps: Please note: Click "Allow" whenever prompted by Windows for authorization to run an application during this process. 1) Go to "Start > Control Panel," and choose "Uninstall a Program" (or "Programs and Features" in Classic View).  If an installation of NOTION already exists, uninstall it from the hard drive. 2) Insert NOTION Installer CD 1 into your DVD/CD drive.  Be sure your iLok is NOT attached. 3) Do not auto-launch the installer.  If it starts on its own, cancel the process and exit. 4) Create a folder on your desktop (right-click on the desktop, select "New… > Folder"), and give it any name.  Within it, create three subfolders - CD1, CD2, and CD3 - in the same manner. 5) Explore the NOTION disc by right-clicking on the "Computer" option in the Start Menu, and selecting "Explore."  Next, select your DVD/CD drive by clicking on it in the navigation tree (left).  The discs contents should appear in the window. 6) Copy all data and files from disc 1 to the CD1 folder you just created. 7) Insert NOTION Installer CD 2, and repeat Steps 5 and 6, copying to the CD2 fol ...
