This skillsheet has been designed to give you a tour of the Windows Vista Mouse options for changing your pointer properties. If you have been using a PC for some time but are new to Windows Vista you may be familiar with the Mouse Properties tool in the old control panel. The settings are almost unchanged in Windows Vista but there are a few changes to how you get there. To start we need to access the Control Panel and switch it into Classic View.Select: Start Control PanelNote: These instructions are the same for all versions of Vistaproviding you are running the Aero or Basic interface themes.Note: Select Classic View from the menu at the top left corner of the window. There are 5 separate sections to mouse properties. They are under the tabs at the top of the window marked: Buttons Pointers Pointer Options Wheel and Hardware. The default option is Buttons and should be displayed once you enter mouse properties. Button configuration: Use this option to switch to lefthanded mode.
