Crankshaft
The crankshaft meets the tough demands of the turbo FSI engine. The main bearing ï¬ anges and journals are designed to provide as much strength as possible.

Engine Block
The cylinder contact surfaces of the cast iron engine block are honed by means of liquid blasting. This type of honing shortens the run-in time of the engine.

Pistons
The crown of the piston is designed to enhance combustion.
