The Ultimate Sony PSP Accessory: Step-By-Step Guide
In the following step-by-step instructions, you will find out how to use the
StorVision miniVCR TV Recorder to capture and transfer video onto your Sony
PSP .
1- Record
1. Set up the miniVCR
Plug the device in the main, connect it to your TV, power it on and refer to the various elements
as explained in the supplied Users Guide. The miniVCR will record from any device that
produces an audio/video signal out of a yellow-red-white set of RCA plugs - these include a
standard VCR, DVD player, satellite box, etc… The miniVCR can record video from any of these.
Do you use a network of video security cameras? The miniVCR can connect to these, too.
2. Insert a memory card
The miniVCR works with both CompactFlash or Microdrives and Memory Stick Duo cards. For
your Sony PSP, you simply need to insert the Memory Stick Duo card into the slot of the
miniVCR. A 1GB will store about 2 hours of video. Gently but firmly insert your memory card into
the slot in the front of your miniVCR unit.
3. Load the Main Menu
If you are not already at the main menu display, press Home on your remote. The main menu
consists of 6 icons, displayed in a row at the top of your screen. It looks like this.
4. Select the Recorder
Move the menu selector to Recorder (the film clip with a red dot inside) by pressing
and . When selected, a live preview appears below the menu line. It shows you whatever
video is playing on the device youve connected to your miniVCR.
5. Enter the full-screen live preview
Press enter . The live preview goes full screen as the main menu hides. You should be able to
see and hear the video as it plays.
Notice the writing at the top of the screen. Its important. If you dont see it, press the display
