FORD Diagnose ManualPage 1Japan ODO Programmer v.2.0Introduction JODOProg is a composite software that contains Dash Board millage calibrator and control application for EEPROMburner 93C(S)xx. Software supports modern Japan and Korean vehicles with electronic dashboards. Installation Run SETUP.EXE and follow the onscreen instructions. Run Japan ODO programmer and get the following message : Press button and get the following screen: Hardware fingerprint: (like 124578) should be sent to the email address: You will get an Unlocking Code. Input the code copy it with Clip Board. Do not leave any spaces at the beginning and at the end of the Unlocking Code. Page 2Usage Start the Software (Start > Programs > Japan ODO Programmer) and get the following screen. It is MAIN window. Page 3You can use the software in TWO different ways: Option 1.Press the buttonand you will get window Choose the appropriate type of EEPROM connect the burner to LPTport N:1. Insert the IC into the burner DIP8 socket. VCC is supplied to the EEPROM only during READ and WRITE operations. EEPROM is out of Power Supply in StandBy Mode. Pressbutton and READ the dump of the EEPROM. Pressbutton in order to check the EEPROM inner code with inbuilt HEXViewer and make sure the dump contains real code not just FF; 00 or sporadic trash. If EEPROM dump consists of 00 only the probable reasons are: Page 4 EEPROM is out of the Power Supply; Burner is faulty. If EEPROM dump consists of FF only the probable reason is: The incorrect choice of the EEPROM. Save the DUMP to the file in order to avoid possible problems with Dash Board. The burner works with files in *.BIN format.To change the millage of the Dash Board choose the vehicle manufacturer. Press Model Choice and get the list of the vehicles Software shows the real millage contained in the read dump If the read software millage does not coinside with the real millage of the dump: Try another model of the same vechile manufacturer.
