Turn on both your Computer and the XBOX or XBOX360. 2. Connect your network cable to your computer. 3. Authenticate the connection with your FAUNet ID. 4. Unplug the network cable from your computer. 5. Important: Within 30 seconds plug the network cable into the console. If you miss the 30 second deadline reconnect the cable to your computer and reauthenticate. 6. You are now connected. Use the console as you normally would.This workaround is good for 4 hours. To connect the console you must first purchase a separate Nintendo WIFI USB Connector. Remember to read your system manual on connecting your console to the Internet first.1. Purchase a Nintendo WIFI USB Connector. (MSRP $40) 2. Turn on both your computer and the Wii console. 3. Authenticate your connection on your computer with your FAUNet ID. 4. Install the accompanying WIFI USB Connector software to your computer following the instructions that came with the device. 5. Setup your connection on the Wii console and register your Wii with yourWIFI USB Connector. 6. You are now connected. Your Wii should now be able to connect to the Internet. Note: Your computer must remain on and connected for the Wii console to access the Internet using the Nintendo WIFI USB Connector. This Console Connection Guide is to be used alongside your system manual for connecting your console to the Internet. The instructions given are intended to be a guide to help you connect your console to the FAU network and they may not work 100%. FAU does not currently provide technical support for gaming consoles.
