FRONT BRAKE LINES FT7268-9G    2 EA. FT17 00/01 FITTING ADAPTER 4 EA.CRUSH WASHERS FT44516 READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY FROM START TO FINISH BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION! INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Lift up the front end of the truck and support the frame rails with jack stands. NEVER WORK UNDER AN UNSUPPORTED VEHICLE! 2. Remove both front tires.  Remove the nut securing the tie rod to the stock spindle and separate the tie rod from the spindle. Remove the banjo bolt securing the brake line to the caliper.  Separate the hard line section from the rubber brake line at the frame.  Remove the clip holding the rubber brake line to the frame tab and set aside.  Using an adjustable wrench or pliers bend the brake line tab on the frame to point the brake line away from the frame.  Insert the new brake line into the frame mount tab and reinstall the clip.  The new brake line should point parallel to the frame and the upper control arm.   Bend the tab as necessary to properly position the brake line. 3. Using the supplied crush washers attach the end of the brake line with the banjo fitting to the caliper.  Be sure there is a crush washer on each side of the banjo fitting and the old washer is not still attached to the bolt or caliper.  Do not tighten the banjo bolt.  Attach the factory hard line to the upper fitting on the new brake line.  2000-01 Use FT17 adapters.  Center the lower tube coming out of the banjo fitting with the two locating tabs on the caliper and torque the bolt enough to slightly crush the washers.  Tighten the upper fitting on the new brake line.  Turn the spindle right to left making sure the brake line does n ...
